Reiki Training
Why Learn Reiki?
Many people feel drawn to Reiki because they sense there is more to healing than what they’ve been taught.
Reiki offers a way to reconnect with the natural flow of life force energy that moves through the body and the world around us. Through practice, students develop a deeper awareness of their own energy, their nervous system, and their capacity to support healing for themselves and others.
Learning Reiki is not only about techniques. It is about cultivating presence, sensitivity, and responsibility in how we work with energy.
For some, Reiki becomes a personal self-healing practice.
For others, it opens the door to supporting the healing of family, community, or clients.
Wherever someone begins, Reiki training provides a structured path for developing that relationship with energy in a grounded and supported way.
The Reiki Training Path
Reiki is traditionally taught in stages so that each level has time to integrate before moving deeper into the practice.
Each stage builds upon the previous one, allowing students to develop their understanding, experience, and relationship with the energy over time.
Training typically progresses through three levels:
• Reiki Level 1 — Foundations of Energy Healing
• Reiki Level 2 — Practitioner Training
• Reiki Master Training
Students begin with Level 1 and may choose to continue their training as their practice develops.
Reiki Level 1 Training
Foundations of Energy Healing
Reiki Level 1 is the first stage of Reiki training. It introduces the foundations of working with life force energy and begins your relationship with Reiki as both a personal healing practice and a method for supporting others.
This training focuses on building energetic awareness and learning how to channel Reiki through the hands in a grounded and responsible way.
Rather than offering large open enrollment classes, Level 1 trainings are scheduled intentionally to provide a more supportive learning environment.
Many trainings begin as private sessions, though a small group may occasionally form when others align with the same training date.
What You Will Learn
During Level 1 training you will learn:
• The history and philosophy of Reiki
• How energy flows through the body and energetic field
• Traditional Reiki hand positions
• How to give Reiki to yourself
• Grounding and energetic awareness practices
Students will also receive the Reiki Level 1 attunement, which activates the ability to channel Reiki energy.
Who This Training Is For
This training may be a good fit if you:
• Feel called to learn energy healing
• Want to develop a personal self-healing practice
• Are curious about understanding energy more deeply
• Wish to support the healing of others
No prior experience with Reiki or energy work is required.
After completing Level 1 and spending time integrating the practice, students may choose to continue their training with Reiki Level 2 Practitioner training, where the work deepens and expands.
Reiki Level 2 Practitioner Training
Deepening Your Practice
Reiki Level 2 is the next stage for students who have completed their Level 1 training and are ready to expand their practice.
At this stage, practitioners begin working with Reiki more intentionally and with greater range.
During Level 2 training you will learn:
• The traditional Reiki symbols and their meaning
• Techniques for directing Reiki energy with intention
• Distance Reiki practices
• How to structure Reiki sessions for others & build a successful healing practice
• Strengthening energetic sensitivity and awareness through meditative practices
Students receive the Level 2 attunement, which further expands the capacity to channel Reiki energy.
Level 2 trainings are typically offered in small group settings, allowing students to practice together and build confidence in their work.
This training is well suited for those who wish to begin offering Reiki sessions to others or deepen their personal practice.
Reiki Master Training
Stewardship of the Practice
Reiki Master training is for practitioners who have spent time integrating Reiki into their life and practice and feel called to continue deepening their path.
At this level, the focus shifts from learning techniques to embodying Reiki as a guiding principle.
Master training includes:
• The Reiki Master level symbols and teachings
• Advanced energetic techniques and meditations
• Mentorship and deeper integration of the practice
• Preparation for teaching and attuning others (for those who feel called)
Because of the depth of this work, Master training is offered in small, intentional containers with space for mentorship and integration.
Students who pursue this level often feel called to carry Reiki forward through teaching, mentorship, or long-term practice.
Training Format
All trainings are offered:
• In person for those who prefer hands-on instruction and shared practice
• Virtually for those who are not local or prefer to attend remotely
Both formats include guided instruction, attunement, and time for questions and integration.
